Dr. Boris Mardian is the owner and lead optometrist at Broadway Family Optometry, where his focus is providing thorough, compassionate, and personalized eye care to every patient who walks through the door. With over 25 years of clinical experience in both general and pediatric optometry, Dr. Mardian blends deep professional knowledge with genuine warmth — ensuring patients not only see well, but also feel cared for.

His passion for optometry began at a very young age, after undergoing eye surgery to correct amblyopia (lazy eye). That early experience sparked a lifelong curiosity about vision and led him to a career dedicated to improving the eye health and quality of life of his patients.

Before taking ownership of Broadway Family Optometry in 2020, Dr. Mardian dedicated the early part of his career to advancing his knowledge, building a wide foundation of clinical experience, and sharpening his diagnostic and treatment expertise in ocular disease management, vision correction, and contact lens fitting. He later served for ten years at Facey Medical Group, working closely with a pediatric ophthalmologist and developing a strong foundation in pediatric optometry.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Mardian is also a sub-investigator for a global clinical research organization, assessing ocular side effects and ensuring patient safety in pharmaceutical trials. He has provided care in community clinics and school-based programs, often serving under-resourced families — a reflection of his deep compassion and commitment to the communities around him.

At Broadway Family Optometry, Dr. Mardian leads a close-knit, friendly team that makes every patient feel welcome.
